Dans sa version initiale de 1960, ce modèle original était destiné au pilotage monofil (action de pilotage par torsion du câble unique), une nécessité pour qui voulait alors avoir une chance de figurer dans le haut des classements. Dans les années qui suivirent (1966 et au-delà), le Stuppi, toujours monofil fut adapté aux moteurs dotés d’un résonnateur en particulier par le regretté Kevin Lindsey en Grande-Bretagne.

In its original version of 1960, this original model was intended for single-line steering (steering action by twisting the single cable), a necessity for who then wanted to have a chance to be in the top rankings. In the years that followed (1966 and beyond), the still single-line Stuppi was adapted to engines with a resonator especially by the late Kevin Lindsey in Britain.
